Releasing / Letting Go
Any thought we have in mind is an object, that alone has no intrinsic value. The value is what we place upon the object in the form of energetic feeling and emotion. Therefore, we are author of how we feel about things. Letting go is an inner tool that allows us to take ownership of that authority so we can choose to see things in the world to the best possible degree, instead of “in the dumps”, which is where we were lead by default conditioning.

Integration
This can also be called shadow work. The “darker thoughts” that we have pressed down are basically the same as mentioned above. Thought objects with no intrinsic value of their own, but energized with feeling and emotion of a certain quality, in this case a darker quality; feeling and emotion that unfolds from lower consciousness energy. The solution is the opposite to what we have been doing. Instead of separating it from us, so it can run amuck, we integrate it within us, so we have mastery over it.

Visualization
There is an entire spectrum that involves creating a way of being in the world that starts at the weakest area of fantasy and/or daydreaming, to visualizing in the now, to visualizing as that person with all the sensations and feelings of a higher degree. It is important to understand that fantasizing is not the same as visualizing. Fantasizing tells you what is possible, visualization makes it a reality.

Fantasy vs Visualization
You can look at creating from within as a spectrum. On the easier but less powerful end is fantasy. On the more difficult—and far more powerful end—is Visualization.
